Camden Polythene nights: Feeder tickets on sale

Feeder have put tickets on sale for two special shows at the Electric Ballroom in Camden on 18 and 19 December 2026. On both nights the band will perform their 1997 debut album, Polythene, in full.

The wider sale follows a presale unlocked by pre-orders of the Polythene 30th Anniversary Edition. That remastered and expanded set is due on 20 November 2026 as a transparent orange, black and blue vinyl pressing. Official band channels confirmed the sale this month after earlier posts had detailed the anniversary package and the full-album plan for the Camden room.

The Electric Ballroom dates are intimate by the standards of a band with three decades of gigging behind them. Playing Polythene start-to-finish places the emphasis on a single early statement rather than a career-spanning setlist. Pre-order of the anniversary edition was the route to early ticket access. With general sale now open, both nights are available through the usual channels while the November vinyl release is still ahead.

Late August posts from the band detailed what the remastered edition contains. Alongside the core album sit tracks including Polythene Girl, Cement and High, together with a previously unseen live version of Cement from the 1997 Reading Festival. The release and the two London dates together mark the milestone without yet expanding into a wider anniversary tour. No further Polythene shows beyond Camden have been announced.

Where Polythene sits

Feeder formed in Newport in 1994. By 1996 they had issued the Swim EP; the High single followed in 1997, the same year Polythene arrived as their first studio album. Those records fixed the group in British rock at the close of the decade and opened a run that would reach twelve studio albums, four EPs and more than forty singles, with a long chart presence across the late 1990s and 2000s.

Commercial peaks brought two Kerrang! Awards, in 2001 and 2003, and induction into that Hall of Fame in August 2019. The discography kept moving through Yesterday Went Too Soon in 1999 and a steady sequence of later studio sets, including Torpedo in 2022 and Black / Red in 2024. A remastered and expanded Comfort in Sound followed in 2025, with a live Comfort In Sound album issued in 2026. Against that stretch of work, Polythene remains the opening chapter: the record on which the band first defined themselves before the bigger rooms and the awards.

Returning the debut to a venue the size of the Electric Ballroom puts that first album back in front of an audience that already knows the later records. Full-album nights ask something different of a catalogue than a hits set does; here the choice underlines how completely those 1997 songs still stand as a single piece. The coloured vinyl gives listeners a few weeks with the remastered and expanded programme before the December gigs.

As things stand, the anniversary edition is scheduled for 20 November and the only confirmed Polythene performances remain the two Camden dates in mid-December. Tickets are on sale now. Whether the full-album format travels beyond London has not been detailed.
