Dead Poet Society join Muse on The Wow! Signal run
Eight January nights from Lisbon to Valencia stretch the European footprint, with Monarch newly out and tickets remaining on sale through official channels.
Muse have confirmed Boston rock band Dead Poet Society as support for their UK and European arena dates this November and December, and have added a further eight shows for January 2027. The run backs the English band's tenth studio album, The Wow! Signal, released in June 2026.The support announcement came on 30 September. Dead Poet Society will open the nights that take in two shows at Manchester's Co-op Live on 12 and 13 November and two at London's O2 on 15 and 16 November, before the tour continues through Berlin, Milan, Düsseldorf, Paris, Amsterdam, Montpellier and Zurich. Two days later, on 2 October, Muse set out the next leg: Lisbon's MEO Arena on 10 January, two nights at Bordeaux's Arkéa Arena on 12 and 13 January, two at Lyon's LDLC Arena on 16 and 17 January, two at Madrid's Movistar Arena on 19 and 20 January, and a closing date at Valencia's Roig Arena on 23 January.
Tickets remain on sale through official channels. No further UK or Irish dates have been added beyond the November run.
Support from Boston
Dead Poet Society released their new album Monarch on 2 October 2026, the same day Muse announced the January itinerary. The timing places the Boston group on the road with new material just as Muse take The Wow! Signal into the arenas. For a bill built around a tenth studio record, the choice of support underlines a night of full-scale rock rather than a quiet warm-up.
Muse, the English rock band from Teignmouth led by Matt Bellamy, have framed this cycle around arena scale from the outset. The November and December dates were already in place when the support act was named; the January extension pushes the European footprint deeper into the Iberian peninsula and western France, with double headers in Bordeaux, Lyon and Madrid suggesting demand that a single night would not cover.
What the route shows
The geography is straightforward. After the four UK arena nights the band move through Germany, Italy, France, the Netherlands and Switzerland before the gap implied by the jump to January. Lisbon opens the new-year leg, then Bordeaux and Lyon keep the focus on France, before Spain takes the final four shows. Montpellier sits on the autumn list; Bordeaux, Lyon and the Spanish run answer it in the new year. Zurich and Amsterdam complete a northern and central European sweep that leaves the British and Irish calendars untouched beyond Manchester and London.
That absence is plain. The November-December leg is set with no UK or Irish dates added beyond the announced run, and the January list does not alter that. Listeners in the Republic and the North looking for a home date will have to travel or wait for any later announcement.
The Wow! Signal arrived in June as the tenth studio album. By early October the band had the support locked, the autumn routing publicised and a second European chapter on the books. Dead Poet Society, for their part, step into those rooms with Monarch brand new. The practical next step for audiences is to buy tickets through official channels, where remaining seats for both legs are being sold.
The picture as it stands is a concentrated arena campaign: clusters of nights in key cities, a named support act with a fresh record, and a clear line from the June release through the autumn halls into the January closers. Whether further legs follow in other territories has not been said. For now the focus is the dates already posted, the Boston band on the bill, and the album that gives the tour its name.
