Dublin joins the map for Waters' Pink Floyd Legacy

Tickets for the 3Arena on 29 June 2027 go on sale this Friday at 9am, with Harry Waters leading a ten-piece band through four albums from the golden era while his father directs.

Roger Waters and his son Harry will bring Legacy: A Pink Floyd Show to Dublin's 3Arena on 29 June 2027. Tickets go on sale on Friday 9 October 2026 at 9am.

The production places Roger Waters, 83, in the director's chair and Harry Waters, 49, as musical director. Harry leads a ten-piece band on the B3 organ, piano and vocals. The evening celebrates what the show calls Pink Floyd's golden era, from 1971 to 1979, and draws its material from four albums: The Dark Side of the Moon, Wish You Were Here, Animals and The Wall. The brief is to recreate the original recordings as closely as possible.

Roger Waters said: "These songs have meant so much to so many people for so many years and I'm excited for audiences to come together and experience them live again. Harry has assembled a terrific band and I can't wait for fans around the world to see the special show we've created together." Harry Waters said the collaboration is "such an honour".

What is new on the route

The Dublin date is the new addition. The wider shape of the tour was already public: a run expected to play more than 100 dates across North America and Europe in 2027, opening on 15 February 2027 in Columbus, Georgia, with North American tickets on sale from 2 October 2026. What the 6 October announcement adds for Irish listeners is a fixed summer night at the 3Arena and a clear local on-sale this Friday morning.

That keeps the narrative in the present calendar rather than a full retelling of the project. A ten-piece band under Harry Waters will perform material drawn only from those four records. Roger Waters directs the presentation. The father-and-son division of labour — direction on one side, musical leadership on the other — is the working structure of the show, not a side detail.

Four albums, one evening

Legacy is not framed as a stroll through the whole catalogue. It remains within the window from The Dark Side of the Moon through The Wall, the stretch treated here as the band's golden era. That choice gives the night a single centre of gravity: the writing, the production and the scale of those studio records, carried by a large ensemble built to match their textures rather than to reinvent them.

Harry Waters' role on the B3, piano and shared vocals puts him at the core of arrangements that lean on keyboard colour and collective singing. The rest of the ten-piece line-up is there to hold the weight of the original tapes on stage. For an audience that already lives with these albums, the interest is practical and musical — how closely a contemporary band, under this direction, can meet the detail of the records night after night across a long tour.

The 3Arena show on 29 June 2027 gives that approach its Irish stop. Further European cities are still expected to join the route as 2027 takes shape. For now the concrete next step is local: tickets from 9am on Friday, a summer date secured, and a production whose boundaries — four albums, a ten-piece band, Roger Waters directing, Harry Waters leading — are already set.
