Fontaines D.C. take nineteen arenas this autumn

Fontaines D.C. have locked in a nineteen-date European and UK arena tour for October and November 2026, the largest venues of their career, built around the release of their fifth studio album, Dopamine Chamber.

The itinerary opens on 21 October at MEO Arena in Lisbon. It continues through Madrid on 22 October, Barcelona on 24 October, Bologna on 26 October, Belgrade on 28 October, Prague on 30 October and ?ód? on 31 October, then Berlin on 2 November, Stockholm on 5 November, Oslo on 6 November, Copenhagen on 8 November, Amsterdam on 10 November, Antwerp on 12 November and Paris on 13 November.

Six UK arena nights follow from 20 November at M&S Bank Arena in Liverpool, then Manchester on 21 November, Glasgow on 22 November, Leeds on 24 November, Birmingham on 25 November and the O2 Arena in London on 27 November.

Presale began at 10am BST on 1 September; general sale opened at the same hour on 3 September. The band said further news on Irish dates would follow soon.

From Dogrel to the big rooms

The Dublin quintet formed steeped in their hometown’s counter-culture, answering it with concise, immediately authentic indie-punk. Early singles — Hurricane Laughter, Liberty Belle, Chequeless Reckless, Too Real and Boys in the Better Land — led to the debut album Dogrel in 2019. A Hero’s Death followed in 2020, Skinty Fia in 2022 and Romance in 2024, with the 2025 single It’s Amazing To Be Young keeping the line of work open ahead of the new record. Along the way they earned a reputation for brooding, trenchant live sets, supporting HINDS, The Horrors, Girl Band, Franz Ferdinand and The Lemon Twigs and taking festival stages at Electric Picnic, Hard Working Class Heroes and Other Voices.

Dopamine Chamber is due on 16 October via XL Recordings. The single Marianne arrived in August.

After the festival circuit

The arena run sits directly after headline slots at Reading, Leeds and Electric Picnic earlier in 2026. That sequence — festival fields first, then purpose-built rooms from Lisbon to London — marks a clear change of scale without rewriting the live intensity that built their reputation. For a band whose early profile was forged on smaller stages across Ireland, Britain and Europe, the move into arenas is the logical next step once the records and the festival bills had already grown.

What remains unannounced is the Irish leg. The band have kept that promise open rather than forcing incomplete dates onto the poster; until those shows appear, the European and UK itinerary stands complete. With Dopamine Chamber six weeks from release and tickets already in general sale, the autumn is now fixed around the record and the rooms that will carry it.
