Coach and ticket packages for Glastonbury Festival 2027 go on sale at 6pm BST on Thursday 1 October, with standard general admission tickets following at 9am BST on Sunday 4 October. The festival returns to Worthy Farm in Somerset from Wednesday 23 June to Sunday 27 June after a fallow year.Registration for tickets closed on 25 September 2026. General admission costs £408, including a £5 booking fee. Buyers may pay a £100 deposit when purchasing, with the remaining £308 due between 1 April and 7 April 2027. Up to six tickets are available per person. Official resale is due to open in spring 2027, once the line-up has been announced.
Organiser Emily Eavis has said that three headliners have already been booked. None have been named. Early bookmakers' favourites for the Pyramid Stage include Sam Fender, Ed Sheeran, Taylor Swift, Rihanna, Little Simz, Harry Styles, Radiohead, Fontaines D.C., Muse and The Rolling Stones. No act is confirmed.
Names already in the frame
For listeners across Ireland and Britain, the speculative list carries familiar weight. Fontaines D.C., the Dublin post-punk band formed around Grian Chatten, have built a tight run from the 2019 debut Dogrel through A Hero's Death in 2020, Skinty Fia in 2022 and Romance in 2024, extended by the 2025 single It's Amazing To Be Young. Their reputation rests on concise, high-voltage live sets that have already taken them across festival stages in Ireland, the UK and Europe.
Ed Sheeran, born in Halifax and raised in Framlingham, moved from independent EPs such as the 2011 No. 5 Collaborations Project to a long catalogue that now reaches the 2025 album Play and its extended and Portman Road editions. A Pyramid booking would place the songwriter back on the largest outdoor stage in the British calendar after years of arena and stadium work built on that writing craft.
Harry Styles, once of One Direction before the band's indefinite hiatus in 2016, has released the solo albums Harry Styles in 2017, Fine Line in 2019 and Harry's House in 2022, with Kiss All The Time. Disco, Occasionally. following in 2026. Bookmakers have long treated him as a natural fit for a prime Pyramid slot.
What stays behind the curtain
The rest of the bill, the other stages and the precise order of the three secured headliners remain undisclosed. Muse, Radiohead and The Rolling Stones sit in the same early market; Charlie Watts died in 2021, yet the band continue to be named among the tips. Sam Fender, from North Shields, is another consistent contender. None of that substitutes for a confirmed poster.
Coach packages are the first practical step for many travelling from Ireland and the regions. Once general sale opens on Sunday, demand is expected to be heavy. The deposit scheme is designed to spread the cost through to the spring window; after the line-up is public, the official resale channel will be the only authorised route.
Until Emily Eavis and the organisers publish names, the 2027 edition sits as a return to the farm with its dates fixed, its price set and its headliners still unannounced. The music will decide the rest.
