Marianne locks a Top 40 hold for Fontaines D.C.

Fontaines D.C. have secured their strongest UK singles performance to date. Marianne, taken from the forthcoming album Dopamine Chamber, entered the Official Singles Chart at number 19 and has spent three weeks inside the Top 40. It is the first Fontaines D.C. single to remain in the Top 40 for two weeks and is the band’s highest-charting single so far.

As of early September 2026, Official Charts Company data confirm the sustained Top 40 run. There have been no further chart updates beyond the three-week stay.

The track was released in August 2026 alongside the announcement of Dopamine Chamber. Both moves made Marianne the opening public statement of the new album cycle, and the chart response has given the Dublin group a commercial marker they had not previously reached with a single in the UK.
