Oasis lock Live ’27: Knebworth, Slane, no new songs

Oasis have confirmed Live ’27, a 38-date tour across the UK, Ireland, Europe and the United States running from May to September 2027. The announcement on 14 September answers the further-dates teaser from that Monday and defines the scale of what follows the 2025 reunion shows.

The itinerary opens with five nights at Glasgow’s Celtic Park on 21, 23, 25, 28 and 29 May. Manchester then hosts an 11-night residency at the Etihad Stadium on 4, 6, 8, 11, 12, 15, 18, 19, 22, 25 and 26 June. Further stops take in Munich, Barcelona, Amsterdam, Paris, Rome, Boston and Las Vegas. Ireland is served by two nights at Slane Castle on 4 and 5 September. The run closes with four nights at Knebworth on 11, 12, 18 and 19 September.

On 14 September, Noel Gallagher said the band settled on the 2027 schedule after the second Wembley show of their 2025 tour in July. On the question of fresh material he was plain: “There won’t be any new music.”

A live band, not a studio return

Oasis formed in Manchester in 1991, emerging from the group once known as the Rain with Liam Gallagher on vocals and, soon after, Noel Gallagher as principal songwriter. They became one of the defining acts of Britpop. Definitely Maybe arrived in 1994; (What’s the Story) Morning Glory? followed in 1995. The brothers remained the constants through successive line-up changes until the split in 2009. Liam went on to front Beady Eye and, from 2017, a solo run that began with As You Were; Noel continued writing and recording with the High Flying Birds. The 2025 live campaign already left a trail of concert recordings — among them Wonderwall from Dublin, Slide Away from Cardiff and Acquiesce from Wembley — and the tour documentary Don’t Look Back in Anger reached cinemas on 11 September.

Live ’27 therefore extends a reunion that has been framed, on stage and on screen, as a catalogue proposition. Noel’s verdict shuts the door on new studio work for now. The songs audiences will hear are the ones already written: the early singles and albums that took the band from club rooms to stadiums, carried forward by the same two voices that defined the group.

How the tickets will work

Ticket registration opens before 17 September 2026, with on-sale windows across 25–27 September. The process is designed to reduce the touting and dynamic-pricing problems that marked the 2025 sale. For a routing this large — five nights in Glasgow, eleven in Manchester, dates at Slane and Knebworth and a run of European and American stadiums — the primary sale is the only lever left against the secondary market.

What stands now is the map itself. Celtic Park starts the summer; Knebworth ends it; and the new music question has been answered in a single sentence. Fans who register this week will find out soon enough whether the anti-tout measures hold. The dates, at least, are fixed.
