Royal Blood lock in Dead Company and a sold-out tour

Swallow The Bomb leads a fifth album due on 13 November 2026. UK and Ireland tickets sold out in two minutes — Europe is next.

Royal Blood have set their fifth studio album, Dead Company, for release on 13 November 2026 via Warner Records, and announced a major European tour after UK and Ireland dates sold out in two minutes.

Swallow The Bomb, released on 17 September, is the second track taken from the record. The band have described the album as “pretty relentless”, saying they wanted to “make a record where it never lets off”. It follows Back To The Water Below, issued in 2023, and retains the two-piece core that has defined the project from the beginning.

Fifth album, same engine

Royal Blood formed in Worthing in 2011. The line-up remains Mike Kerr and Ben Thatcher: Kerr on bass, pushed through effects pedals and amplifiers so that one instrument carries both guitar and bass parts, and Thatcher on drums. Warner Chappell Music signed them in 2013. The self-titled debut arrived in 2014, How Did We Get So Dark? in 2017, Typhoons in 2021, and Back To The Water Below in 2023. Dead Company extends that run without a change of personnel — a fifth studio album from a duo unchanged for fifteen years.

That signature sound, and the live weight it produces in a room, is what audiences have followed across the four earlier records. On 19 September the pair performed the new track Ten Over Ten alongside Figure It Out on television, bringing fresh writing to the small screen only two days after Swallow The Bomb landed.

From a two-minute sell-out to Europe

Demand for the coming gigs has been blunt. UK and Ireland tickets sold out in two minutes, and the European dates followed. The UK leg runs from late November into early December. Confirmed shows include Bristol on 24 November, Newcastle on 25 November, Manchester on 27 November, and two nights at Glasgow's Barrowland on 28 and 29 November. The itinerary takes in the band's headline show at London's Olympia The Grand Hall and finishes at Brighton Centre on 4 December.

The speed of the ticket sales left little room for a slow build. By the time the wider European run was confirmed, the UK and Ireland shows were already gone. For a band now deep into a second decade, the calendar is compressed: a single in mid-September, a television appearance with another new song days later, an album in mid-November, and a sold-out UK stretch that begins before that month is out.

Dead Company is due on 13 November 2026. The first of the listed UK dates falls on 24 November. Europe stretches beyond those rooms. Listeners who catch the November and December gigs will hear songs from the new album within days of its release, with Swallow The Bomb already out as a single and Ten Over Ten having aired on television.

How far the relentless claim runs across a full set of songs will be plain once the record is out. Until then the public markers are the single, the television performance, the sold-out dates, and a fifth album that keeps Royal Blood the same size they always have been.
