The Cult join A Perfect Circle and Puscifer next spring
Support from 27 April through mid-June follows a 2025 touring hiatus for writing and recording, with general tickets already on sale after Friday's release.
The Cult will join A Perfect Circle and Puscifer on a North American tour in spring 2027. The English rock band announced the run on 29 September, setting out a supporting role on a bill that will cross the continent between late April and mid-June. The Cult's dates begin on 27 April and continue through that window.A Perfect Circle and Puscifer top the bill for the tour. The Cult join from 27 April, covering the greater part of the spring schedule even if some dates fall slightly earlier in late April. Full routing — cities, venues and any local openers — is being handled through ticket outlets rather than the band's social post.
To coincide with the reveal, A Perfect Circle released a new single, To Whom It May Concern. The track arrived as the spring dates were made public, tying a fresh studio release to the live plans rather than a separate campaign.
After a year off the road
The tour follows a deliberate break. In 2025 The Cult announced a touring hiatus so the band could concentrate on writing and recording, taking them off the live circuit while new work was prepared. The spring 2027 North American package is their first major run since that decision, returning them to North American stages in a support slot.
Ian Astbury and Billy Duffy are the members named on the announcement. No further detail on the touring line-up was issued with the Instagram post, and the band have not said whether songs written during the hiatus will be ready for the 2027 shows. It remains unclear. What is fixed is the frame: late April to mid-June, a three-act bill, and a Cult start date of 27 April.
Tickets and what comes next
An A Perfect Circle pre-sale ran from 30 September, with local pre-sales beginning on 1 October. General tickets went on sale on Friday 2 October at 10am local time and were already moving across the run's territories by Monday.
The opening Cult date on 27 April 2027 is still more than six months away. For now the fixed points are the three-act bill, the April–June window, the Cult's 27 April start date, and A Perfect Circle's single issued as the news broke. Any further legs beyond North America, and any release timetable for material written during the 2025 break, have not been announced. The spring booking is the story for now: it follows a year set aside for the studio and has already moved from pre-sale into general sale.
