The Wombats toast their debut with a full-album spring tour
The run opens in Paris on 1 April, with Manchester, Glasgow, London and a hometown Liverpool date to follow — pre-sale starts at 9am tomorrow.
The Wombats announced on 12 October a UK and European tour to mark the twentieth anniversary of their 2007 debut album A Guide To Love, Loss & Desperation. The Liverpool band will play the record in full each night before moving on to later hits and fan favourites, a format built for an audience that has grown up with those songs and still wants them complete and in order.
The tour opens on 1 April 2027 at Le Trianon in Paris. Further European dates follow in Cologne, Berlin, Munich, Amsterdam and Antwerp. The UK leg then runs: 10 April at O2 Victoria Warehouse in Manchester; 13 April at O2 Academy Glasgow; 16 April at O2 Academy Brixton in London; and 18 April at the Arts Club in Liverpool. That final date returns the album to the city where the band started, on a stage sized for a night that is both celebration and homecoming.

Drummer Dan Haggis put the tone of the run in plain terms. “When we realised our debut album was turning 20 in 2027, we decided it was only fair to throw a bit of a party to celebrate,” he said. The wording matches the bill: not a farewell, not a reboot, but a deliberate return to the first record as a piece of work worth staging whole.
